Introduction to the Summer Analyst Program

The Private Bank emphasizes the development of enduring client relationships, supported by a team of seasoned advisors and highly qualified specialists who deliver a diverse range of services, including investment management, trust and fiduciary solutions, financial and succession planning, philanthropic initiatives, specialty asset management, family office services, art advisory, and bespoke credit solutions.

Program Highlights:

Our Summer Analyst Program is meticulously crafted to provide you with a unique opportunity to engage with various teams within The Private Bank, including Relationship Management, Trust & Wealth Structuring, and Investment Management. This structured 10-week internship offers extensive on-the-job training, aligning you with a high-performing client team to acquire practical experience and insights necessary to serve ultra-high-net-worth clients, including business owners, corporate executives, and innovative entrepreneurs. Alongside educational content and exposure to industry thought leaders, you will benefit from coaching, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities throughout the program.

Key Responsibilities:

As a summer analyst, you will engage in a comprehensive curriculum and gain exposure to daily client-related tasks, including:

  • Assisting in new business development, prospect engagement, and client relationship management.
  • Overseeing the execution of client service activities, such as digital onboarding, initiating and monitoring account openings, and asset transfers.
  • Addressing client inquiries and collaborating with specialists and service centers to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Managing account maintenance tasks, including trust accounting transactions, processing deposits and transfers, and generating reports.
  • Conducting research projects on behalf of clients and maintaining investment industry research and reporting information.
  • Evaluating client experiences across live and digital interactions to identify modernization and integration opportunities.
  • Providing administrative support in coordination with trading, operations, and client service teams.

Candidate Profile:

We seek highly motivated individuals who are energetic, analytical, and entrepreneurial, with a keen interest in developing a sophisticated skill set aligned with wealth structuring, credit and banking, trust, and relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Current students pursuing a Bachelor's or Bachelor's direct to Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated achievements through extracurricular activities or leadership roles.
  • A passion for investing and a solid understanding of finance.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Capacity for independent thought and sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
  • Proficiency in technical skills such as Excel and PowerPoint.
