This week intra-semester internship will be in Amgen global supply chain (GSC) with a hour per week commitment broken between the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 academic semester (Sept 30, March 3, Amgen GSCs mission is to enable growth and maximize profitability by partnering across the value chain, balancing agility and efficiency, while ensuring quality and service and provide Amgen with world-class planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution services that deliver a competitive advantage.
With the support of their hiring manager, the intern will develop a strategy that may result in a meaningful change to the business. Using their analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills, the intern will work cross-functionally to clarify the problem, measure the current state, and develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis.Win

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
18 years or olderCurrently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalentCompletion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencingEnrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or universityMust not be employed at the time the internship startsStudent must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-opPreferred QualificationsDegree concentration(s) in Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, OR related discipline, such as, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering2-4 years of lab experienceStrong basic lab skillsAbility to learn new experimental methodsStrong attention to detailAbility to conduct researchAbility to manage multiple projects consecutivelyDemonstrated ability to bring structure to complex problems, pragmatic scoping and problem-solving approach, ability to objectively evaluate options/trade-offs and develop executive management-level recommendationsKnowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory policiesThriveSome of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth in addition to their well-being: The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $ $28.30 per hour.
