Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collections and posting rent receipts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Approve invoices and post accounts payable, maintaining a high level of financial accuracy.
  • Supervise on-site team members, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless property operations.
  • Manage move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for residents.
  • Participate in leasing and renewal activities, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and property performance goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Ensure the established financial and operational goals of the property are met, driving business success.
  • Assist with project management of capital improvements at the property, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Ensure the highest quality customer service to residents, maintaining a positive and responsive attitude.
  • Ensure quality of maintenance and turnover work, maintaining a high level of property appearance and condition.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and other external partners, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, supporting the overall success of the property and company.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience as a property manager, with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at a 400+ unit property, with a strong understanding of property operations.
  • Bilingual preferred in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
  • Prior experience with properties undertaking renovations is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience with Yardi software is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to multitask, achieve deadlines, and work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to hire, lead, and manage team members.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, with a clean driving record.
  • Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
