Community Manager Job Description

Gumenick Management Company LC is seeking a highly skilled Community Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Assist in creating the annual operating budget, approve invoices, and generate weekly and monthly activity reports.
  • Accounting: Oversee income and expenses, use Yardi to coordinate profit and loss statements, and manage bank deposits and petty cash.
  • Market Analysis: Provide recommendations for cost-effectiveness and income enhancements, and stay up-to-date on market trends.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Monitor the physical condition of units and common areas, handle incident reports, and oversee vacancy status documentation.
  • Office Administration: Ensure proper training of office staff, approve lease applications, and oversee office operations.
  • Management Accountabilities: Ensure compliance training on fair housing laws, supervise on-site associates, and handle hiring, promotions, and terminations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field, or 7+ years of property management experience.
  • Supervisory experience, strong administrative and financial skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Superior problem-solving and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
