At FreightTAS, we are seeking a talented Freight Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business and growing regional import/export sales in Air/Ocean International or Domestic Freight.

Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary of $100,000 per year, plus commission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in the freight forwarding industry.

About the Role

The successful Freight Sales Professional will be responsible for:

  • Developing new business through research, prospecting, and qualifying new opportunities;
  • Increasing market share within assigned territory and achieving assigned financial budget for volume, revenue, and profit;
  • SUCCESSFULLY CLOSING NEW BUSINESS AND ONBOARDING NEW CLIENTS;
  • Increasing market share within the existing client base;
  • Maintaining contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction;
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the freight forwarding industry;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to fulfill client needs;
  • High level of organization and time management skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and technical understanding of a CRM System;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
