LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Cytologist to join our team at Carroll Hospital. As a Cytologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with our mission statement and SPIRIT values.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and screen cytologic specimens to ensure accurate test results.
- Assist on fine needle procedures and interpret findings under the direction of a pathologist.
- Follow laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory agency requirements.
- Determine that test results meet quality control program requirements and repeat tests as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, cytology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Cytologist - Board Registered or specialist in Cytology by recognized credentialing board.
- Eligible to become Registered.
- LC - Licensed Cytologist.
