Cytology and Histology Expert

LifeBridge Health is seeking a highly skilled Cytology and Histology Expert to join our team at Carroll Hospital Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for preparing and screening cytologic specimens, assisting on fine needle procedures, and interpreting findings under the direction of a pathologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and screen all cytologic specimens
  • Assist on fine needle procedures
  • Interpret findings under the direction of a pathologist
  • Follow laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements
  • Determine that test results meet requirements of the quality control program
Requirements:
  • Required Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in cytology and histology
  • Cytologist - Board Registered or specialist in Cytology by recognized credentialing board
  • Eligible to become Registered
  • LC - Licensed Cytologist
