Job Title: Finance Producer

At Hendrick Automotive Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Producer to join our team. As a Finance Producer, you will play a critical role in coordinating the sale of finance and insurance programs to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell financing and insurance to customers.
  • Responsible for the attainment and gross production of financial services' goals and objectives.
  • Review customer credit applications.
  • Present extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers.
  • Assess profitability to dealership of financing arrangements.
  • Utilize the menu selling process.
  • Ensure necessary documentation for each deal is complete by utilizing a deal checklist.
  • Work closely with sales team, maintain effective employee relations.
  • Maintain AFIP Certification.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and the lending institution.
  • Ensure adherence to F&I reporting requirements of company.
  • Attend weekly manager meetings.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

A degree or commensurate finance experience is required. Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures is preferred. Knowledge of regulations and laws governing financing in the automotive industry is also preferred. Ability to work with lenders and financial institutions is essential. Prior automotive sales experience is desired.

Certifications and Licenses:

A valid driver's license is required. AFIP Certification is also required. Automobile Salesperson License is preferred.

Computer Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required. Advanced ability to operate Finance and Insurance portion of Dealer Management System is also required.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions is required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel is also required. Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills are essential.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed primarily in finance and insurance and sales areas. Considerable time spent on the phone and at a computer. Work involves frequent customer contact and interaction with lending institutions.
