About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team at Schahet Hotels. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Sales, Guest Service Manager, and General Manager in achieving our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and implementing the marketing plan, communicating daily activities and leads to the Director of Sales/General Manager.
  • Administer inside direct sales and strategies, communicating leads to the Director of Sales/General Manager.
  • Coordinate blitzes, including communication with new prospects.
  • Have thorough knowledge of Front Desk operations and assist by working shifts as needed.
  • Regularly meet with the Director of Sales/General Manager to communicate and discuss sales activities.
  • Administer group events, including greeting all groups and individual tours, and placing welcome baskets in group contacts' rooms.
  • Back up Guest Services by direct involvement in Front Desk Operations.
  • Offer ideas, suggestions, and procedures for creating and maintaining Guest Satisfaction for all guests, with a focus on LNR and Group arrivals.
  • Attend any and all meetings involving discussion about Group or LNR as required by the Director of Sales or General Manager.

Training and Development

The Sales Coordinator must complete all Brand and Schahet Hotels Specific Training Requirements within the prescribed timeline.

Decision Making

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for making decisions within agreed-upon group selective sell guidelines and adhering to group room maximum commitment levels. Decisions outside of guidelines must be discussed with the General Manager.

Financial Responsibilities

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for meeting top-line revenue in designated segments and meeting individual sales call goals.

Communication

The Sales Coordinator must follow guidelines set forth by Schahet Hotels in communicating with the Director of Sales/General Manager, VP of Sales & Marketing, fellow associates, and clients.
