Job OverviewAs a Sales Professional at Ranson & Associates, LLC, you will play a key role in driving new business growth by utilizing consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers. Your primary objective will be to proactively cross-sell and coordinate with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers. You will also be responsible for prospecting for new business through leads, centers of influence, personal meetings, and telephone calls. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to work independently to plan, set priorities, and organize your work. You will also need to have demonstrated sales experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience with PC software applications.

Responsibilities
  • Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
  • Proactively cross-sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers
  • Prospects for new business through leads, centers of influence, personal meetings, and telephone calls


Qualifications
  • Job contingent based on passed Property & Casualty license within 60-days of employment.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work
  • Demonstrated sales experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
