Position Overview:
This role is integral in supporting the leadership of Portfolio-wide Product Development (PD) and facilitating collaboration across various business sectors.
It involves analyzing financial data to uncover trends and propose enhancements aimed at boosting both current and future financial outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting in the formulation of regular and specialized budgets, along with related reports that clarify budget directives and establish policies for their implementation.

Conducting targeted studies to evaluate corporate objectives and preparing policy and procedural recommendations is essential.
Engagement with the executive team and management in planning and forecasting is crucial, as is providing ongoing support within the Finance/Accounting Team.

To ensure a seamless budgeting process, this role will assist in managing the diverse revenue-generating departments in developing the necessary operating plans and forecasts.

Establishing and managing databases of relevant information for future planning, budgeting, and forecasting analysis is required.
Interpreting and applying corporate financial policies and accounting principles is a key responsibility.
Maintaining extensive communication with team leaders, executives, and managers at all levels is expected.
Recommendations for cost-saving or profit-enhancing opportunities and strategies for improving profitability will be made to management.
Preparing comparative analyses of operational programs by evaluating costs in relation to services rendered in previous fiscal periods and submitting reports with budget revision recommendations is part of the role.
Updating and enhancing the budgeting tools utilized by management and Finance, while reviewing existing tools for potential improvements, is also necessary.

Core Responsibilities and Skills:
This position will enable the Senior Financial Data Analyst to achieve rapid growth in critical career areas such as:

Business Collaboration:

Work closely with leaders in the Product Development group, providing financial insights and guidance to support portfolio-wide decision-making.


Data Management:

Extract, cleanse, and manipulate extensive datasets; develop and maintain data models and documentation that support Product Development initiatives.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all financial tools related to Product Development.

Scenario Analysis & Modeling:

Engage in extensive data analysis and dynamic scenario modeling, focusing on researching and validating modeling inputs and assumptions to ensure alignment with operational models and strategic objectives.

Full P&L business case development and presentation to senior leadership will be required.

Business Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the supply chain sector, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure is essential.

Process Improvement:

Understanding and mapping operational and financial processes, identifying efficiency enhancements, and recommending adaptations to meet evolving functional and business needs to ensure data output accurately reflects current performance.


Communication & Coordination:
Effective and timely communication and coordination with various levels of finance and operations are critical.
Problem-Solving:
The ability to navigate uncertainty, meet stringent deadlines, and work with minimal supervision is necessary.

Ownership & Accountability:
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility, along with a desire to enhance knowledge and enjoy the learning journey, is vital.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience supporting both financial and operational decision-makers is necessary. Experience in SaaS is advantageous.
Mastery of Excel is required.
At least one year of experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, and/or Power BI is essential.
Familiarity with FinOps, DevOps, and/or Agile management is preferred.
Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is beneficial.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with high accuracy standards, are expected.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to thrive in a diverse and multicultural environment.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and reflective of current national data, with individual salaries commensurate with skills, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors.

This role may also be eligible for participation in an annual performance bonus or commission program, depending on the nature of the position.
