The branch network is an integral part of the larger Investor Services division, dedicated to offering guidance and support to individuals and families regarding their financial objectives, encompassing retirement planning, educational funding, investment oversight, estate management, active trading, and banking solutions.

As an Investment Consultant (IC) at Charles Schwab, you will embark on a journey of learning and development within our Branch Network. This entry-level position serves as a stepping stone towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab, providing essential exposure and experience necessary for advancement in this dynamic field. You will discover how to cultivate a client portfolio through proactive outreach to existing Schwab clients, identifying opportunities through needs-based assessments, and presenting suitable products and solutions. You will have the chance to observe our proficient FCs and learn how to deliver exceptional value and service through collaboration and mentorship. What you have

Required Qualifications:
  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services sector
  • Ability to leverage business development experience
  • Enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge of brokerage and banking products and services
  • Willingness to establish strong client relationships
