As an Investment Consultant (IC) at Charles Schwab, you will embark on a journey of professional growth within our Branch Network. This entry-level position serves as a stepping stone towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab, providing essential exposure and experience necessary for advancement in this dynamic field. You will develop skills to cultivate a client portfolio through proactive outreach to existing Schwab clients, identifying opportunities through needs-based assessments, and presenting suitable products and solutions. Additionally, you will have the chance to observe our experienced FCs, learning how to deliver exceptional value and service through collaboration and mentorship.

What You Have

Required Qualifications:
  • A valid and active Series 7 license is mandatory (license may be obtained as a condition of employment through the Branch Network Licensing Program)
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained as a condition of employment)
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is necessary (may be obtained as a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services sector
  • Ability to utilize business development experience effectively
  • Enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge about brokerage and banking products and services
  • Willingness to foster strong client relationships
