Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Alta Hospitals. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on our healthcare services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office navigation, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Knowledge of IPA operations in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of claims, eligibility, and referrals.
