Job Overview:

Key Qualifications:

  • Act as the RMF Lead, possessing extensive knowledge of RMF principles and each phase of the process.
  • Experience with the Army's RMF management tool, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), along with managing system vulnerabilities and relevant Risk Management documentation.
  • Familiarity with DISA System Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs) and the ability to guide technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) accordingly.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various IT system infrastructures and application development methodologies.
  • Conduct Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or other IA/CND Compliance and Auditing processes for all enterprise systems and networks, ensuring thorough review of all related documentation.
  • Perform compliance evaluations of computer security plans, risk assessments, and security test evaluations and audits.
  • Assess security requirements for information protection across enterprise systems and networks.
  • Contribute to the formulation of security policies.
  • Evaluate the sensitivity of information and execute vulnerability and risk assessments based on defined sensitivity and information flow.
  • Possession of Technical Level II certification as outlined by DODI 8570 is mandatory.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the execution of contract transitions to ensure uninterrupted service to critical business functions and maintain service quality during and after transitions.
  • Support operations in alignment with Cybersecurity standards as defined by relevant regulations and directives.
  • Deliver real-time compliance and continuous monitoring in accordance with NETCOM's sampling requirements, conducting routine assessments and heightened scrutiny of the cybersecurity posture and associated risks for all systems.
  • Provide necessary reports detailing compliant and non-compliant findings, vulnerabilities, Control Correlation Identifier (CCI), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) for each assessed system.
  • Offer surge support, technical guidance, and expertise in Cybersecurity to assist various stakeholders in accordance with all related cyber regulations and directives.
  • Deliver Cybersecurity surge support in response to real-world scenarios or additional requirements for RMF compliance checks and documentation review across authorization boundaries, including but not limited to:
    • Preparation for security reviews of all controls associated with RMF relevant to assigned authorization boundaries based on Confidentiality, Integrity, or Availability designations.
    • Conduct on-site or off-site audits of all information systems to validate compliance with associated security controls.
    • Serve as reviewers for audit teams during inspections, assessments, evaluations, and audits.
    • Generate reports for the assigned Government representative as required.
    • Provide reviews, validation, and deliverable efforts in support of compliance or non-compliance in accordance with CCI, STIGs, and SRGs for each finding or vulnerability.
    • Deliver embedded Cybersecurity support across Customer or other supported organizations as necessary.
