Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer II to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This role is responsible for maintaining the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as performing repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Assure daily activities and problems are communicated to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
