Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all building-related systems and ensuring the safety of our guests, associates, and vendors. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders to maintain the hotel and ensure product quality standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis, including room care.
  • Assist in checking electrical systems, make minor repairs, and replace equipment as needed.
  • Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
  • Maintain the building exterior and curb appeal, including snow removal, lawn care, and painting.
  • Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, including painting and finishing.
  • Respond to guest questions, complaints, and requests in a courteous manner.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures and operation of heavy machinery.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Vocational schooling, military training, certification, and/or experience in building-related trades, such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Climbing, reading, standing, walking, and routinely lifting 25 lbs to 50 lbs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
