Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager - Team Lead to join our team at Resources for Human Development. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our programs, ensuring the highest level of quality care and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to direct care staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
    • Organize and distribute work among assigned personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Communicate policies and procedures to staff, ensuring they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
    • Administer policies and procedures as established by Resources for Human Development.
  • Direct Care
    • Maintain a direct service caseload, providing individualized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
    • Coordinate and oversee medical appointments, ensuring timely and effective care.
    • Communicate with family members, guardians, staff, and regional office personnel to ensure seamless support.
  • Administration
    • Participate in person-centered planning, including attending meetings, providing input, and coordinating training plans.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, and progress notes and daily notes are reviewed.
    • Monitor the implementation of plans, complete monthly reviews, and communicate with service coordinators.
    • Prepare and submit reports and documentation related to individuals supported by the program.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and implement continuous quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field, including sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling, and psychology.
  • Current Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to:

  • Extreme heat and cold.
  • Wet and humid conditions.
  • Loud noise.
  • Confined spaces.
  • Mechanical and chemical hazards.
Physical Requirements
  • Medium physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, climb stairs, talk and hear, see, push and pull, and perform repetitive motions.
