Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
    • Knowledge of nursing principles, care, examination, and treatment room procedures.
    • Understanding of medications and their effects, patient education, and self-care program development.
  • Licensure:
    • Current valid state license.
  • Certifications:
    • CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to assist and perform medical treatments and procedures.
    • Capacity to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Basic computer terminal and keyboard skills, or the ability to learn these skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to operate equipment normally related to the specialty of the clinic.
