Job Description

Restaurant Operations Manager

Local Kitchens is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Food Preparation and Menu Compliance: Oversee food preparation processes, portion control, and food presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Collaborate with culinary and training departments to ensure teams understand menu recipes and adhere to brand standards.
  • Kitchen Organization and Maintenance: Enforce food safety and hygiene standards, conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and organization, and manage inventory of equipment and kitchen tools.
  • Cost Control and Inventory Management: Review kitchen labor and scheduling, control food cost and usage, and maintain accurate records of inventory, waste, and kitchen expenses.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare reports and updates for restaurant management, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Food handling and safety certifications required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
