Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Marugame Udon. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Food Safety and Quality:
    • Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation.
    • Conduct regular food safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
    • Manage staff schedules, including creating and managing schedules, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Ensure that all guests have an exceptional dining experience, including prompt and friendly service, high-quality food, and a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure that all restaurant operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing staff, finances, and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
