Foster Care Case Manager

As a Foster Care Case Manager with StepStone Family & Youth Services, you will play a critical role in supporting the well-being of children and families in need. This dynamic position requires a strong understanding of child welfare principles and a passion for delivering high-quality services to vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and families
- Provide regular support and guidance to foster families, including training and home studies
- Collaborate with community agencies, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
- Monitor progress and outcomes, using standardized tools to measure social and emotional growth
- Prepare written treatment plans and progress reports, as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with children and families, preferably in a child welfare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
