Job Description

At The Boldt Company, we're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, ethics, and compliance requirements at all times.
  • People: Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues related to plans, specifications, and field constraints.
  • Quality: Develop a comprehensive understanding of contract documents, conduct detailed construction document reviews, and ensure compliance with applicable codes.
  • Schedule: Assist in scheduling and managing subcontractor trade coordination meetings, look ahead planning meetings, and submittal review meetings.
  • Cost: Assist Project Managers in negotiating change orders, managing information on changes in the work, and preparing independent analyses.
  • Risk: Prepare detailed contract items lists, develop trade scope of work documents, and participate in risk management.
Requirements
  • Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
  • Solid understanding of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, interact, and communicate optimally with others.
