Position Summary:
HallKeen is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver direct nursing services to our residents while overseeing the daily nursing operations conducted by our Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. This oversight must comply with existing federal, state, and local regulations that govern our facility, ensuring the highest standard of care is upheld consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update care plans for all residents under supervision.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff.
- Adhere to and implement physician's directives.
- Accurately transcribe physician's orders in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily reviews of resident records to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
- Document detailed and comprehensive nursing notes.
- Report any unusual or significant findings to the physician as needed.
- Administer medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure the safe and accurate management of all medications under responsibility.
- Initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Qualifications for Registered Nurse:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- Experience in Assisted Living or Home Health Care environments is essential.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
