Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide analytical staff in evaluating Requests for Proposals, ensuring clarity and adherence to grant regulations.
  • Coordinate the planning and management of the Grants Unit's budget, facilitating fiscal forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Supervise the execution of grants and cooperative agreements, ensuring all activities align with applicable laws.
  • Engage in audits conducted by various authorities, addressing any findings related to grants administration.
  • Interpret and apply state and federal guidelines to maintain proper procedures within the unit.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders, reflecting the unit's activities and compliance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to grants administration, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on grants administration, providing consultation to program management.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and communication.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel required for training and meetings. The position allows for flexible telework arrangements in accordance with departmental policies.
