In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate workflows and ensure seamless collaboration between our team and Field Engineers, driving maintenance and network enhancements for our broadcast stations across the nation.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, implement, and document projects focused on preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades across all facilities, based on priorities set by the Engineering Network Operations Manager.
  • Provide necessary training and ensure the generation and completion of appropriate work orders.
  • Delegate tasks effectively among the Engineering Operations Team.
  • Monitor daily operations, track issues and resolutions, and ensure accurate data entry related to EMF-owned towers and assets.
  • Collaborate with Field Engineers to document maintenance progress and ensure all team members complete their tasks while maintaining accurate records in the maintenance database.
  • Generate and present regular reports on various projects and activities to the Engineering Network Operations Manager.
  • Facilitate constructive conflict resolution to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Source and implement training programs for the Engineering Operations Support Team as needed.
  • Oversee leave requests and manage time and attendance for direct reports.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing inquiries and concerns, communicating solutions clearly and positively.
  • Efficiently route and respond to questions that do not require managerial attention, keeping the manager informed.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Engineering Operations Team while supporting the Engineering Network Operations Manager in developing a highly skilled and responsive support team.
  • Foster a learning environment that integrates training, operational best practices, and core values with innovative solutions that align with our mission.
  • Supervise and take responsibility for the performance of the Engineering Operations Support Team.
  • Engage in ongoing training and education to enhance your understanding of leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Associate's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Preferred: SBE Radio Operator Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of general office experience and prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software and project management.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and tracking complex projects using databases and spreadsheets.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and analytics tools; knowledge of Maintenance Connection application is a plus.
  • Ability to plan, organize, lead, and direct medium to large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while achieving performance goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to adapt to change while maintaining a positive attitude and high productivity.
  • Collaborative and flexible style with a strong service mentality; a true team player.
  • Professional representation of the organization and leadership staff while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine business relationships.
