About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join our team at Finn Partners. As an Account Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting multiple client accounts, handling media relations, and conducting industry research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile comprehensive media lists and work with team members to pitch media and secure traditional and social media placements
  • Monitor, track, and report traditional and social media outlets for coverage of client news and competitor developments
  • Identify trade reporters, business reporters, and influencers relevant to the client
  • Proactively consume traditional and social media outlets that are relevant to client business
  • Write, proof, and edit client-related documents based on outline or direction from supervisor
  • Prepare initial draft of client updates, as needed and requested
  • Research industry or program-relevant topics efficiently
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in digital and social media communications
Requirements
  • At least six months of internship experience in public relations or related marketing communications field preferred
  • Understanding of public relations, social media, and marketing communications
  • Creative writer with solid understanding and proficiency in multiple writing styles, including business communications and AP style
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple deliverables against deadlines
  • Proactive and collaborative, able to operate effectively independently and with a team
  • Desire and eagerness to learn and grow
