Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Discovery At Home. As a Private Duty RN, you will play an active role in helping others and making a difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary

The Private Duty RN will be responsible for health care management and coordination of the staff to achieve optimal clinical, financial, and quality of life outcomes. You will work with all staff to create and implement a collaborative plan of care, perform ongoing monitoring of the plan to evaluate effectiveness, and adhere to nursing guidelines, clinical protocols, company policies, and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Health care management and coordination of the staff

  • Ongoing monitoring of the plan to evaluate effectiveness
  • Adherence to nursing guidelines, clinical protocols, company policies, and procedures
  • State and federal regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in a home health agency
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Knowledge of home health care techniques and required documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve, and work effectively with people
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations
