Job Title: Regional Vice President

This role is responsible for leading Teknion's sales and marketing efforts within a designated geographic area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and will be able to build strong relationships with dealers and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a regional sales force, including hiring, training, and coaching sales personnel.
  • Develop and execute a regional business plan, incorporating annual goals and objectives.
  • Manage a dealer network, obtaining buy-in for Teknion initiatives at the highest level within the dealership.
  • Assist in sales presentations and facilitate a team selling approach within the region.
  • Oversee a showroom facility, maintaining its condition and managing support staff.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Teknion products and competitors' offerings.
  • Operate the region within established budgetary guidelines, managing annually assigned budget for travel and other expenses.
  • Assist District Managers in keeping accurate and up-to-date forecasts.
  • Work in a manner consistent with the overall goals of the corporation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 8-10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated track-record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Successful track record of building strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve results.
  • Management/leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales strategies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking ability, problem-solving skills, and initiative.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
