Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hospitality Ambassador to join our team at Ted's Bulletin. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and genuine greetings to guests, ensuring a seamless and efficient dining experience.
  • Facilitate seating and manage guest flow in accordance with Ted's Bulletin quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, both in person and over the phone, to ensure clear expectations and a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restrooms and the outside perimeter of the restaurant.
  • Assist with clearing and cleaning tables, which may require reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, and working with cleaning agents.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our menu and be able to speak to it confidently with guests.
  • Complete side-work tasks as assigned and take to-go orders, which requires writing orders and ringing them into the point of sale system.
  • Navigate our reservation/guest management system quickly and efficiently.
  • Understand and practice proper safe food and beverage handling procedures in accordance with local government standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment is preferred.
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
  • At least 18 years of age (unless permitted by law).
  • High energy and stamina to work in a fast-paced, highly mobile environment.
  • Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day, preferred.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Certified in (or able to be certified in) responsible alcohol service, as required by state or local law.
  • Able to perform essential functions and demonstrate competencies to company standards with reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written).
