**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 11:00am-3:00pm

MedStar Health is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to enhance the care and satisfaction of our patients at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with each patient and acting as an ambassador across departments by performing various activities to assist leadership and the care team in meeting patient needs and departmental goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with each patient, performing daily non-clinical rounding as assigned to mitigate issues that can impact the patient experience.
  • Ensure all necessary follow-up/action items are completed, reported, and documented to close the loop.
  • Integrate into assigned departments, tracking and trending patient/family service concerns observed or discovered during rounds.
  • Identify system/process-related opportunities and work collaboratively with involved parties to resolve.
  • Participate in process improvement activities aimed at enhancing the patient experience.
  • Communicate and interact with patients, families, associates, and others in a compassionate, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Use available data sources to identify opportunities for improvement in assigned departments and enhance the patient/family experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, healthcare, communications, or performance improvement required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience required.

This position has a hiring range of $48,059.20 - $80,059.20.
