Position Summary:

The Head Host plays a crucial role in shaping the guest experience, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and valued. This position requires a deep understanding of hospitality and the ability to manage a vibrant dining environment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance the concierge program to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the hiring, training, and scheduling of all front-of-house staff, including hosts and coat check personnel.
  • Optimize guest flow during service to maintain a seamless dining experience.
  • Develop and maintain reservation systems to accommodate high volumes of guests efficiently.
  • Foster strong relationships with local hotels and booking agents to enhance guest services.
  • Ensure that guest information is accurately maintained in the database.
  • Keep all guest-facing materials current, including operational information and marketing content.
  • Engage with guests through various channels to uphold a positive online reputation.
  • Act as a floor manager, responsible for opening and closing the venue as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in restaurant management systems.
  • Ability to integrate quickly into a team and be recognized as a leader.
  • Skilled in identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including late nights.
