Job Summary

Sattler College seeks a highly skilled and motivated Director of Donor Development to lead our philanthropic efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual, church, and business donors to advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive donor development strategy to achieve annual fundraising goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community leaders to foster a culture of philanthropy.
  • Collaborate with the President and Board members to identify and pursue major gift opportunities.
  • Manage and execute donor communication, including regular reporting and stewardship.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in Christian higher education fundraising and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in charitable giving.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, donor development, or a related field.
  • Strong Christian work ethic, team-player mentality, and ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Boston/New England regions and experience with Capital Campaigns.
  • Designation as a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE).
