About the Role

Braven is seeking an Executive Director to lead our efforts in the Greater Boston Region. This is a unique opportunity to join a national nonprofit organization that prepares young people for careers through a career-accelerating program.

The Executive Director will be responsible for building a strong coalition of corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit partners in Boston and Greater Boston, leading to the launch of Braven's new region. They will manage the partnership with our first higher education partner in the Greater Boston region and oversee the expansion to future higher education partners in the area.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of leadership experience, a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. They will be responsible for raising roughly $7M for the first three years of programming and will work closely with the Central External Affairs team to achieve this goal.

The Executive Director will also be responsible for building a regional advisory board, managing the regional program team, and ensuring the successful launch and growth of Braven's new region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a comprehensive multi-year strategic plan to reach Braven's vision for scale and excellent outcomes in the Greater Boston Region.
  • Build and manage a regional advisory board to maximize the region's impact, narrative, and sustainability.
  • Raise roughly $7M for the first three years of programming and ensure the financial sustainability of the region.
  • Manage the partnership with our first higher education partner in the Greater Boston region and oversee the expansion to future higher education partners in the area.
  • Build a strong coalition of corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit partners in Boston and Greater Boston.
