Family Partnerships Director

Job Summary
The Family Partnerships Program Director is responsible for leading a dynamic team of Family Advocates and an FPP Operations Manager. The Director provides vision and leadership to the team, ensuring that services are provided in a trauma-informed manner and with fidelity to the Mobility MentoringTM model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead talent management of the FPP team, including hiring, supervising, and providing leadership to individual Family Advocates and the team.
- Build on the strengths of the existing team by listening actively, incorporating the team's feedback, facilitating effective meetings, and communicating clear expectations.
- Provide regular supervision to Family Advocates, supporting ongoing development of skills necessary for Mobility MentoringTM and trauma-informed practice.
- Create a team environment that allows members to process and mitigate the impact of secondary trauma, including opportunities for self-care.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Early Education team leaders to ensure consistent and seamless high-quality service delivery for families.
- In partnership with the Chief Program Officer (CPO), develop clear and specific performance goals for the program.
- Provide Family Advocates with the support, training, and coaching they need to ensure that the program's performance goals are met.
- In collaboration with the CPO, utilize data to tell the story of FPP's work, identify patterns and gaps, improve services, and demonstrate program efficacy.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Community Activities for parents, including workshops, classes, parent groups, and community building activities. Participate whenever possible to build relationships with parents.
- Act as staff advisor to the Horizons Parent Council.
- Serve as a member of the Horizons Operating Council.
