Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at El Centro Family Health. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the clinic drug room in compliance with NM State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the clinic drug room in compliance with NM State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Under the direction and supervision of the Pharmacist or Nurse Director, perform various tasks related to pharmacy operations.
  • Have access to personal data regarding individual patients and/or their families, and maintain a high level of confidentiality of the information processed by the employee.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Min. 2 years in pharmacy or medical setting.
  • Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) (Must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
  • Preferred Requirements: Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician, Bilingual - (Spanish/English).
