Position Overview:

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing medication therapy, and working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Management :
Review and manage patient medication plans, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.

Clinical Consultations :
Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on medication therapies, including dosing, side effects, and drug interactions.

Patient Education :
Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration :
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient treatment plans.

Medication Reconciliation :
Conduct thorough medication reviews during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to prevent errors.

Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.

Quality Improvement :
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving medication safety and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
1 or more years of Clinical Pharmacist experience is required. PharmD or RPh from an accredited school. Current and valid license to practice. Understanding of DEA and FDA health regulations. Responsible, detail-oriented person of upstanding integrity. Be able to handle a large workload while still working efficiently and accurately. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Personable and well-spoken with great customer service.
