Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Associate to support the Department of Neurology at Dell Medical School. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to department faculty and staff, including purchasing and procurement activities, travel arrangements, and event planning.
  • Coordinate with the Department and Dell Medical School finance department to process purchase requests, cash advances, reconciliations, and payment requests.
  • Manage department inventory processes, including tracking and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as needed, maintaining a broad organizational perspective to effectively carry out internal and external relationships.
  • Serve as a backup for other staff members and attend meetings, workshops, or seminars as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
