Job Summary

Smith Chason College is seeking a highly motivated and organized Registrar to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including admissions information, scheduling, attendance, grading, and tuition payments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as college policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of student services.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive campus culture, promoting a student-first environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on college programs and policies, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to students and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Director.
Requirements
  • 1 year of registrar or related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven leader with business administration experience required.
  • Strong technical skills, including computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
