Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Columbine Commons Health & Rehab in Windsor, CO. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in the recovery and well-being of our post-acute and elderly patients and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to residents in a manner that enhances their quality of life
  • Perform delegated independent nursing functions according to each resident's plan of care using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately, observing resident response
  • Collect samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum for residents
  • Assist nursing assistants in attending to the individual needs of residents
  • Monitor, observe, report, and record physical, mental, and psychological changes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
  • Clear unencumbered license from the State of Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Current CPR Certification
  • New Grad LPNs welcome, as well as licensed nurses from hospitals, long-term care, or other related healthcare facilities
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

Work Schedule
  • Full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts available
  • Days: 6am-2:30pm, Eves: 2pm-10:30pm, Overnights: 10pm-6:30am
  • 8 hour and 12 hour shifts available
  • Holiday schedule - time and a half paid
