We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Columbine Commons Health & Rehab, a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Windsor, CO.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to residents in a manner that enhances their quality of life
- Perform delegated independent nursing functions according to each resident's plan of care, using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately, observing resident response
- Collect samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum, for residents
- Assist nursing assistants in attending to the individual needs of residents
- Monitor, observe, report, and record physical, mental, and psychological changes
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Clear, unencumbered license from the State of Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current CPR Certification
- New Grad LPNs welcome, as well as licensed nurses from hospitals, long-term care, or other related healthcare facilities
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
