Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing and implementing the Consolidated Patient Account Center (CPAC) in a VISN or VISNs. Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the performance of senior managers and supervisors in a healthcare revenue organization.
  • Presents statistical reports and special analysis to management committees for recommendations and follow-up action.
  • Establish clear accounting and administrative procedures for the operation of the healthcare revenue program.
  • Establish and modify performance measures for both programs and employees.
  • Consult with executive managers of healthcare programs internally and externally to resolve complex issues.
Requirements

  • Establishes short and long-term plans for an effective organization.
  • Establish and manage auditing operations as required.
  • Manage business revenue operations of a regional, multi-state healthcare organization which includes insurance verification and identification, billing, collections, utilization review, and cash management.
Work Environment

The work is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting at a desk, working with computers daily. Some work may require walking in offices and similar areas for meetings. Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site.
