Job Title: Staff Accountant - Nonprofit
Job Summary:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of a nonprofit organization, including preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the organization's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Generate regular financial reports for the board, donors, and stakeholders.
- Create and manage the organization's budget.
- Grant Management: Track and report on grant spending.
- Accounts payable and receivables.
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofits.
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices.
