About the Role

ARDEX Americas is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Houston Metro Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating new and existing business opportunities with partner distributors, commercial contractors, flooring contractors, and installers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of ARDEX and Henry products in the Southeast Texas territory.
  • Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Promote Products: Conduct hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and professional displays to showcase the benefits of ARDEX and Henry products.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with partner distributors, specialist flooring/tiling contractors, general contractors, architects, and key business influencers.
  • Provide Field Service: Offer technical expertise and support, including job start assistance, bid preparation, and distributor/installer training.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, collaborating with corporate resources to deliver exceptional service to ARDEX customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, with knowledge of building materials industries and flooring installation systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with architectural specifications and construction design elements.
  • Business Integrity: High levels of business integrity, ethics, and good professional judgment.
  • Energy and Enthusiasm: High level of energy and enthusiasm for the industry, with a solution-driven and customer-focused approach.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel daily throughout the assigned territory, including some overnight.
