Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical support tasks, preparing paperwork, and supporting the HR team in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative and clerical support tasks
  • Prepare paperwork and set up employee profiles in the HRIS system
  • Support the HR team in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and correspondences
  • Update relevant SOPs and maintain current records
  • Review and process agency and vendor bills in a timely manner
  • Prepare documents for new hires, employee visa applications, employee movement, and benefit enrollment
  • Respond to and assist various requests from managers, employees, and others
  • Maintain logs and records for internal audits and external compliance
  • Roll out online training and monitor progress to ensure completion by deadline
  • Conduct or assist with record audits and mandatory reports
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records
  • May assist with payroll functions, including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks
  • Attend company events as required
Requirements
  • Business-level English required - read/write/speak/listen
  • Business-level Chinese or Japanese required - read/write/speak/listen
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related fields required
  • 2+ years of HR administrative experience required
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
