Senior Loan Processor

About the Role:
East West Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Processor to join our team. As a Senior Loan Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing loan applications for completeness and accuracy, verifying supporting income, asset, and liability documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process loan applications for Fannie Mae mortgage loans, including opening escrow, ordering title reports, and requesting information needed to complete loans.
- Use knowledge of title conditions to work with Mortgage Loan Officers, escrow/title, and customers to resolve pending conditions and stipulations.
- Obtain and review documents for compliance with loan conditions, coordinating with buyers, sellers, title companies, escrow agents, surveyors, and real estate agents to obtain additional documentation, complete loan submissions, and perform closings.
- Maintain system accuracy, issue proper disclosures as required by federal regulatory compliance, and review rate lock and point objectives for accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
- At least 5 years of computer experience, preferably with Encompass automated origination system.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage difficult conversations to a successful outcome and positive customer experience.
- Excellent organizational skills (ability to prioritize) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is USD $30.00/Hr. - USD $35.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
