Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Admin to join our team at Penske Motor Group. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage various HR-related documents, implementing efficient filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
  • Maintain communication boards to ensure accuracy with compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Generate HR-related reports and analytics as needed, utilizing HRIS to extract relevant data for analysis and decision-making.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee training and development, coordinating training sessions and maintaining organized records of training attendance and completion.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, organizing and filing benefit-related documentation.
  • Send out weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly announcements to the team.
  • Conduct various administrative audits, create, and update spreadsheets and other documents needed.
  • Update job descriptions and other various projects for the department.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to travel to other Company locations to facilitate trainings and participate in HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, be organized, action-oriented, see big vision, and collaborative with all levels of the organization.
  • Must maintain the utmost professionalism and discretion in this role.
  • Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language, work well with the public.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to:

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Work to be conducted primarily in an office environment, however, some work may be done in conference rooms, outdoors, and remote via zoom.
  • Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily.
