Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated customer service professional who excels in building and nurturing exceptional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires adaptability to work effectively in a team setting or independently with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate professional communication skills in both face-to-face interactions and through various channels.
- Assist in the initiation of customer delivery processes.
- Engage with both internal teams and external clients.
- Manage a high volume of telephone and email correspondence to address customer inquiries promptly and provide updates on any changes.
- Facilitate daily customer order processing.
- Participate in entry-level material planning activities.
- Proactively resolve discrepancies by investigating the source of issues.
- Coordinate transportation schedules for both routine and expedited services using customer and freight forwarding platforms.
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and scanning.
- Adhere to records retention protocols as outlined in company directives.
- Understand escalation processes and their purposes.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques such as the 5 Whys or 8D methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to provide support as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment is required.
- Proficient computer skills with familiarity in various software applications, especially MS Office and SAP ERP.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with professional telephone etiquette, are essential.
- Ability to manage stressful situations efficiently and professionally.
- A commitment to teamwork to achieve sales objectives and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
