We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Senior Accountant to enhance our finance department. This position is crucial for managing essential accounting operations, generating financial reports, and leading a team of junior accountants. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior accounting capacity. A CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable. A strong grasp of cost accounting and GAAP standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general accounting operations.
- Facilitate financial audits and implement controls.
- Evaluate financial statements and conduct ad hoc analyses.
- Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
