About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst-Pricing will utilize their knowledge of finance, accounting, and business strategies to provide insights to TriNet's management team through various analysis functions.

This position is responsible for preparing financial reports and analyses for the Data & Analytics organization and serves to assist with company needs.

The position provides regular support to other Revenue, Marketing, and Finance-related functions, such as the month-end close/reporting process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide insights, analysis, and recommendations for Pricing to new and existing TriNet customers.
  • Consult on multi-year pricing strategies with customer relationship managers.
  • Understand and explain the customer P&L (CLTV) to non-financial leaders.
  • Manage financial models to ensure Pricing attainment meets or exceeds Plan.
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvement.
  • Identify and address areas of risk that threaten the success of the company.
  • Advise and implement solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Supports consolidated Attrition/Retention forecast process.
  • Implements dashboards (Tableau) and scenario analysis (Anaplan/Excel) to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Analyzes monthly results and provides recommendations to financial and non-financial leaders.
  • Coordinate with Revenue Leaders, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Insurance Services to ensure revenue and cost metrics are captured accurately.
  • Responsible for compiling and supporting key reporting metrics (KPI) and other visual materials.
  • Mentoring data analysts to develop their skills in independent design, analysis, and communication of findings.
  • Cross-train staff to mitigate risks to key processes.
  • Assist in automation of repetitive data aggregation/manipulation tasks to enable greater focus on value-add analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - Preferred.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience.
  • Tableau development experience - Preferred.
  • Anaplan development experience - Preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lead others.
  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst - Preferred.
